When I started playing hockey, I used to play for
Redbridge & Ilford under Martin Foxall, he was the
best coach I ever had.
I later played for Old Loughtonians and then finally decided to
come and play for Ramgharia and fully commit myself to the club
following a number of injuries and still score goals and more
goals.
In the 2006/7 season, we finished 5th, however this was a great
position considering the injuries we had and the loss of nearly
half of the squad to nother club. But with will power and determination
we were 2nd at mid-season before I injured my hamstring and playing
in the centre-forward role was awesme, but I couldnt continue
which meant we didnt have a centre-forward and goals dried up.

The 25th Greenwich Hockey Festival (Veterans) was won by Ramgharia
for the 3rd time consecutive time with the “Goans” as runners
up – The game was played i good spirit and with very good discipline
from both side and was very entertaining.
The final score was 1-0 to Ramgharia. It was a very exiting match
with both teams knowing exactly how each other play.
Shahid Khan (Captain) was presented with the Winner Trophy and
I was awarded the Best Player of the Tournament.
